  • Since 1981 they have been seen in the thee and Nordhoeks rivers
  • These catfish live on the bottom of rocky or cobble freshwater systems
  • The Rock Catfish migrates up and down the stream during its mating season
  • Alien invasive species and loss of habitats
  • No plans are underway right now to save the species individually but there are plans to restore the rivers which give home to this species and others that live in the rivers.
