Description:
  • Cartegory: Reptile
  • Physical Appearance:
    • Up to 21 feet in length (6.5 m)
    • 70 - 129 lbs
    • Brown, yellow, cream, or off-white in color, with dark brown to black markings.
    • Have flattened heads with small eyes and large nostrils situated high on the snout.
    • V-shaped mark on the head.
  • Diet:
    • Mammals (preferred)
    • Birds
    • Fish (because they live in water and are great swimmers)
  • Aquisition:
    • Kill their prey through constriction (coiling around the prey and crushing it)
    • Detect its prey by sensing body heat and watching it
    • Tend to be nocturnal and hunt at night
  • Breeding:
    • Takes place between the months of November and January
    • Female lays 20-100 eggs
    • Gestation period = 100 days
